Clever Girl … Welcome to Jurassic Park!

My 8 year old son recently watched Jurassic Park for the first time and since then he is obsessed with Dinosaurs! He especially likes large & scary ones! For his 8th birthday, I styled a classic Jurassic Park themed dessert table and party. I used the logo as the background but changed the wording to Zac’s Park. Everything was personalised with the famous logo to water bottles and chocolate bars. I made up Jurassic Park Visitor Passes so every child got to wear a pass to make the experience even more real. We had a T-Rex Pinata and I organised an outdoor movie night for everyone to watch … you guessed it … Jurassic Park! The kids had an absolute ball!

An Adventure 65 Million Years in the Making.

My eldest son will be turning 8 in February and at the moment he is obsessed with Dinosaurs. We saw Jurassic Park for the first time together and he absolutely loved it (and I was jumping in my seat when I saw that huge T-Rex!) and I thought a ‘Jurassic Park’ themed party would be such a blast.

I have designed the backdrop and all printables and I thought we could have an outdoor movie night and play  … you guessed it … Jurassic Park! I’ll post some more pics of the party in the New Year …

Hen’s Night Invite

A friend is getting married in December and my sister is Bridesmaid so she has the fun task of organising her Hen’s Night! She asked me to help her create a fun invite. The bride to be loves pink so I created something fun but still mature. Wishing Arita a wonderful Hen’s Night!

I have a new Business Logo!

I have been thinking up names for my new business venture and I really liked the sound of “Zig Zag” as it’s catchy and fun and suits a business that mainly focuses around Children’s parties.

I love the simplicity of black and white together as it looks sophisticated and the crown on top of the letter ‘I’ gives it a royal touch! (I am known to be a bit of a Princess sometimes!).

Hope you like it as much as I do ….

Mini Coopers and more Mini Coopers!

I just finished styling my son’s 3rd birthday dessert table and as you can see by the pictures it was Mini Cooper madness!

I loved this theme as I thought it was fun and modern and the colour theme of red, baby blue, black & white worked great together. I kept the Minis all red with black roofs and accents. All we need now is to buy Adam a real Mini Cooper so we can cruise around town! Enjoy …

Mini Cooper Madness!

My youngest son is turning 3 in August and he is obsessed with cars … BMWs, Audis, Mazdas and most recently Mini Coopers!

I am preparing his dessert table and naturally the theme is everything Mini Coopers. I just finished wrapping his chocolate bars and they look adorable. The colour theme is Baby Blue, Red, White. I used the Mini Logo with his name inside and also a Mini Cooper with the number plate ‘Adam is 3’. I am looking forward to styling this party next month and sharing some photos with you all soon!

A’hoy! Adam is 1

I wanted to create something spectacular for my youngest sons 1st birthday party. After we chose a beach side location — a nautical theme seemed appropriate!

I worked alongside Belinda from Styled By Belle again and a wonderful nautical adventure theme was created.

It was such a wonderful and memorable day and even though the party was in the middle of a Melbourne winter, the sun shone and the ships sailed on the water right outside our window!

Enjoy …

Easter Treats …

For Easter this year I created these beautiful chocolate bars for my sons to give to their friends and teachers.

They are a beautiful and elegant gift that look impressive and taste yummy! They are a great alternative to Easter Eggs.

I used milk & white chocolate bars. Wishing you all a fabulous Easter … Try not to eat too much chocolate !

Under The Sea …

I really wanted to give my son a different and fintastic (pardon the fish pun!) party for his 6th birthday. After a visit to the Melbourne Aquarium I decided having a party there would be wonderful!

I hired my regular stylist Belinda from Styled By Belle who is amazing. After months of googling “Under The Sea Party Ideas” we came up with a magnificent Dessert Table. All the guests loved it! The kids did a one hour tour of the Aquarium followed by lunch and desserts in the party room. The party was also featured in “My Child Magazine” and I was even interviewed for the article.
